NamPharm is recruiting a Procurement Assistant: Consumer, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the daily activities and administrative tasks assigned by the Category Manager: Consumer. The incumbent’s work will be measured by the departmental KPIs and will be reported monthly to the Category Manager: Consumer
Duties
  • The incumbent must follow-up on orders to ensure timeous delivery of stock
  • The incumbent must manage his/her portfolio by regularly checking on outstanding stock / stock on backorders and follow-up with suppliers
  • The incumbent must process/capture invoices and do continuous follow-up on outstanding orders
  • The incumbent must assist with the item master and ensure the prices of stock are correct
  • The incumbent must assist with reception duties when requested
  • Provide order and product information from Suppliers to Buyers and Telemarketers
  • Assist Warehouse and Telemarketers with product queries
  • Get quotations for clearance and transport
  • The incumbent will be required to prepare the necessary transport and permit applications for permit orders
Requisites
  • Grade 12 certificate is compulsory
  • Experience and a qualification in the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Industry will be advantageous
  • Applicant must not have a criminal record
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Adequate comprehension of basic mathematics skills
  • Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with suppliers written and verbally
  • Applicant must be in a good physical and mental condition
