Accountant

Description

• Analyze financial reports as well as interpret the current and projected company financial position Co-ordinate the budget process and variance reporting by making use of predictive modelling
• Prepare reports and financial statements in line with accounting practices

Duties

• Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
• Creates solutions to meet customer demands and deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
• Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand
• Perform financial analysis and planning to ensure accurate financial data against budget

Requisites

• Relevant Financial Management / Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
• Have 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar environment of which 1 – 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
