Old Mutual is recruiting a Personal Assistant, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • Performs secretarial duties for executive(s) or senior employee(s)
  • Manages queries on behalf of manager and performs delegated tasks
  • Ensures senior is equipped with necessary documentation to proceed with meetings
  • Manages diaries
  • Communicates with suppliers and other departments
  • Maintains professional internal and external relationships at management level
  • Could work for more than one manager/executive and may manage junior staff (e.g. messenger)
  • Provides support in relation to arranging functions venue bookings making travel arrangements when necessary
  • Maintains confidentiality of information
  • Responsible for office infrastructure e.g. office equipment and ordering of stationery
Requisites
  • Namibian citizen
  • Grade 12 with 25 points
  • Secretarial diploma is highly regarded
  • Extensive experience as a Personal Assistant
  • Ability to generate own correspondence and documents
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Administrative skills
  • Ability to plan and organise
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to liaise at all levels and deal with clients
  • Be able to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Attention to detail
