Namib Mills is recruiting a Key Account Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • The position is responsible for business planning and operations to pro-actively ensure that all required sales targets are met and to develop and maintain sales performances
  • Responsible to assist the Sales team to analyse, plan, co-ordinate, support, implement programs and provide services involving marketing, promotions, pricing, and distribution of the Feedmaster brands
Duties
  • Plan, implement and monitor Marketing/Sales strategy, advertising, PR and related resources to ensure customer retention, growth and market share as well as channel and manage price guidelines
  • Implement corporate image, brands and product ranges in area of responsibility
  • Ensuring customer and market share growth by delivering a business plan that will drive volume and profit for clients and the Feedmaster brand to achieve approved budget goals and in turn achieving market leadership and Organisational growth in line with Vision, Values, and long-term strategic requirements of the Company
  • Retention, maintenance, and expansion of current and future customer base for Feedmaster
  • Organising and give informative speeches at Farmers days/ Extension events regarding poultry
  • Giving technical advice and training to farmers, clients and retail outlet personnel
  • Establish beneficial contact and trading alliances with customers, consumers, suppliers, agents, depots, marketing channels, distribution channels and marketing agencies to optimize profitability. Continually review trading and distribution channels to optimize profitability
  • Build strong customer relationships and address specific customer needs and manage customer perceptions and ensure adequate service delivery
  • Analyse profitability of existing products and make pro-active recommendations
  • Assist in the continuous analyses of sales and related tendencies, product ranges, markets movement, competitor strategies, retail and distribution channels in geographic areas
  • Manage customer complaints and satisfaction according to ISO 22000 food safety standards. Analyse and report on customer business to ensure growth
  • Accurate customer administration
Requisites
  • BSc Agric or Diploma in Agriculture with at least five (5) years’ relevant experience
  • Namibian citizen
  • Valid Namibian driver’s license
  • Must be proficient in English (Written & Oral)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be willing to travel and work extensive hours
