NamPharm is recruiting a Key Account Marketer, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The incumbent is responsible for managing, retaining, maintaining, and growing his/her allocated key account clients
- This includes all activities as described in the Sales Goal plan and departmental processes
- The Marketer must undertake any other duties or responsibilities as determined by the Marketing Manager
Duties
- These include the following; however other duties may be assigned by the CSO from time to time as operationally required
- The Marketer is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of his/her own client visits based on his/her allocated client list
- The Key account marketer must ensure that predetermined targets are achieved
- The Key account marketer must ensure the most effective marketing skills and strategies are used to achieve the sales targets
- The Key account marketer should ensure departmental KPI's are achieved
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with health care professionals
- Gather market intelligence by staying abreast of industry trends and customer feedback
- Provide continuous feedback on system improvements and possible updates
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Provide Feedback regarding product performance, customer preferences and emerging market opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and report potential compliance issues or concerns
- Stay updated on developments regarding healthcare products, medical advancements and relevant healthcare regulations. Participate in training programs, conferences and professional development activities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
Requisites
- To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must have the following knowledge, skill, and/or ability
- Grade 12 is compulsory
- Three years degree/diploma, preferably sales or marketing
- At least 7 years’ experience in marketing or related fields
- Valid driver's license code B
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Knowledge of appropriate industry regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Should have excellent writing skills, communication skills, and presentation skills
- Language skills: English and Afrikaans (Oshiwambo will be advantageous)
- Leadership skills. Be decisive, able to give directions and to guide others, and exceptional time management skills
