Rössing Uranium is recruiting a Human Resources Officer: HR Systems Support, to be based in Arandis, Namibia.
Description
  • Internal vacancies exist for a Human Resources Officer: HR Systems Support within the Human Resources department reporting to the Specialist: Remuneration and Benefits
  • The successful incumbents will be responsible to provide on-site support to the Human Resources team on HR information technology systems and the implementation of all HR related system projects by coordinating with relevant teams/consultants to produce expected results and outcomes
Duties
  • Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards
  • Collaborate and coordinate with HR team and key stakeholders to identify and analyse HR related systems and process problems and translate requirements into functional specifications to enable creation of system designs to meet business needs
  • Evaluate and determine the effective and efficient integration of HR SAP software programs and other HR systems to ensure it enhances HR business processes
  • Contributes operational user expertise to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HR SAP Modules (Organisational Management (OM), Personnel
  • Administration (PA), Payroll (PY) and Recruitment, SuccessFactors Performance Management and Learner Management system and Time and Attendance (FLOW))
  • Provides training to all HR system users and administrators to ensure effective utilisation of systems
  • Creates and maintains system validated organisational structures
  • Develops user-friendly HR Reports and ensure they are accessibility to all HR users and develops data queries upon an authorised request
  • Documents all HR System processes and preparing management reports as and when required
  • Acquires and applies new technology skills
  • Keep abreast with all new developments in the HRIS environment through self-study and learning
  • Improve the effectiveness and contribution of the human resources processes and systems to supporting the HR strategic goals
Requisites
  • A Recognised bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology NQF Level 7/8
  • OR
  • A Recognised National Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology NQF Level 6
  • SAP HR module training will be an added advantage
  • Valid code BE drivers’ licence
  • Bachelor / BTech degree: A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in HR SAP module and time attendance systems
  • Experience in project execution as well as translating HR business processes and system requirements into technical specifications. National Diploma Candidates: A minimum of Seven (7) years’ experience in HR SAP module and time attendance systems
