PWC Namibia is recruiting a FIA Compliance Officer, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description

Duties

  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
  • Responsible for the Financial Intelligence Act (“FIA”) compliance of the firm
  • Ensure compliance to Namibian Anti-Money Laundering Legislation
  • Assist with compliance to PwC’s client on-boarding (Know your client) process
  • Monitoring of existing clients’ compliance with laws and audit independence rules
  • Reporting non-compliance with external Laws and Regulations or Internal Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with PwC’s Global Network Standards
Requisites
  • Must be a Namibian Citizen
  • LLB/BCom Law Degree or completed legal articles
  • 2-3 Years work experience
  • Strong administration skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and the Google Suite of products
