Fishcor is recruiting a Personal Assistant, to be based in Lüderitz, Namibia.
Description
  • Seaflower Group of Companies: incorporating the two main Operators, Seaflower Whitefish Corporation Limited & Seaflower Lobster Corporation based in Lüderitz, is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and requires the services of a Personal Assistant to the CEO and Marketing Liaison Officer at its Head Office in Lüderitz
  • The incumbent reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for various secretarial and administrative functions in the Office of the CEO (OCEO)
Duties
  • Manage all administration in the OCEO and execute all delegated tasks diligently
  • Manage promotion and positioning of Fishcor brand or the products and services
  • Facilitate efficient communication between the OCEO, internal and external stakeholders
  • Screening of all visitors and delegations to the OCEO and manage CEO’s schedules
  • Maintain strict confidentially, professionalism and a positive image of the OCEO
  • Maintain a professional filing system and good housekeeping in the OCEO
  • Prepare presentations and correspondence on behalf of the CEO and senior management, including the drafting of general replies and minutes of meetings
  • Organise and coordinate the board and CEO’s logistical requirements and itineraries
  • Prepares the CSI contribution for board meetings and annual reports
  • Prepare, plan and project manage the marketing agenda of the company, including publications, media liaisons, and promotional materials, in accordance with the designed marketing plan
  • Plan and attend to marketing logistics of corporate events
Requisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 3 years executive secretarial and/or marketing experience
  • Advance computer literacy and publication skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Telephone etiquette
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
  • Three (3) years of experience in the marketing and communications field will be an advantage
