FNB Namibia is recruiting a Payments Manager EFT and Core Banking, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To manage the FNB domestic payments function ensuring the active support of organisational strategy
Duties
- Manage, implement, and support company payment solutions
- Represent the organization’s interests at National Payment System industry forums and meetings
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to support and co-ordinate the resolution of escalated service issues
- Display Team-oriented behaviour, strong inter-personal skills and competent communication across all levels
- Analyze and interpret complex information from a wide range of sources, to offer contextual solutions
- Stay abreast of best practices and innovations to find practical applications thereof within the organisation
Requisites
- Have a relevant Post Graduate Degree
- Have of 5 - 8 years’ experience in Information Technology projects or a support role within the financial Services Industry
- Have expert knowledge in payment systems including significant product leadership and working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Foundational knowledge in IT applications, infrastructure, networks, databases
- Professional Knowledge of ISO20022
- Experience with interpretation and application of the payments regulatory framework
