Description
- Namdeb Diamond Corporation invites interested individuals to be part of alluvial mining operations that offer unique challenges for professionals who wish to be part of a world-class operation
Duties
- The Corporate Affairs manager contributes to the formulation and execution of the overall Namdeb brand strategy
- The successful candidate will be responsible for applying specialist expertise skills in implementing the overall Namdeb internal and external communication strategy contributing to ensuring a reputable Namdeb brand
- Furthermore, the incumbent is expected to drive campaigns focused on transforming internal and external stakeholder perceptions, whilst positioning the company’s image
Requisites
- Post-graduate qualification in Communication, Public Relations or Human Sciences or any appropriate degree linked to the relevant experience
- Ten (10) years post-graduate experience of which four (4) should have been served at Management level
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and word processing
- Application of graphic design packages and Project Management exposure would be advantageous

- Proven leadership and track record of performance
- Ability to apply public relations skills across differentiated stakeholder groups and forums
- Strong inter-personal relations and ability to apply a creative mindset
- Demonstrated media relations and events management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office word and writing skills
- Ability to handle situations with diplomacy and understanding protocols
- Ability to deliver under pressure and to operate in an ambiguous environment
- Knowledge of sustainability principles
- Ability to maximize digital communication opportunities
