FNB Namibia is recruiting a Robotics Process Automation Practice Lead, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To oversee robotic process automation implementations and internal transformation efforts
- To work with business units to leverage Robotic Process Automation technology in order to enable automation of business processes and continuous process improvement
- To lead a multidisciplinary team of process automation specialists
Duties
- Identify and assess potential processes for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and analytics solutions
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, governance, integrity, and practice standards to identify and manage risk exposure in area of responsibility and audit requirements during execution
- Drive and implement rigorous quality standards for all aspects of the automation delivery from initial concept to final commissioning and handover
- Prioritize the process pipeline to deliver automation in a cost-effective manner and against business requirements
- Compile reports that track progress and evaluate the impact of the RPA function across the organization
- Manage team performance to exceed service delivery in support of business operational objectives
- Demonstrate innovation by applying continuous improvement of best practices leading to reduced costs and increased performance
- Effectively manage the automation resources to deliver complex multiple projects on time and to budget
- Oversee the quality delivery of the robotics solutions in accordance with the given delivery methodology of the robotics software
- Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
- Manage the automated processes on a daily basis to ensure they are scheduled in line with Business requirements and exceptions
Requisites
- Have a bachelor's degree in BCom Informatics / BSc Computer Science / BSc Information Technology and Blue Prism Developer Certified Accreditation will be an added advantage
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience as a software/system developer, of which 3 to 4 years in a senior role within an RPA environment
