Lending Head Wesbank

Description

• To lead the design and management of a targeted independent credit review capability to assess the quality of lending and ongoing management of credit risk within the Bank including adherence to risk appetite, credit policy and regulation; implement and drive the Credit Operations strategic objectives in line with overall Credit operations strategy and that of the bank

Duties

• Develop a comprehensive lending strategy aligned to Segment strategic growth objectives
• Achieve market share and revenue target by growing advances through contextually relevant campaigns and customer education
• Create and refine solutions to better meet customer needs and demands
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards and impactful communication

Requisites

• Relevant Post Graduate Degree
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at management level
