PWC Namibia is recruiting an Internal Audit Trainee 2025, to be based in Windhoek & Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
- Execute internal audit programs (including the completion of system descriptions, preparation of working papers and maintaining the internal document repository)
- Identify, evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls
- Develop sound knowledge and understanding of clients through researching and knowledge sharing
- Assist clients with the development of policies and procedure manuals
- Assist with the marketing and development of the Namibian Internal Audit practice to further extend the Internal Audit practice service offerings
- This will include proposal writing and completion of internal risk management documentation
Requisites
- Must be a Namibian Citizen
- B.Comm/B.Acc Degree (with honours) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or studying towards certification
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Develop and apply technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work in a pressurised and stressful environment
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages
- Driver’s License would be an advantage
