Old Mutual is recruiting a Senior Marketing, Brand and Sustainability Consultant, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Marketing:
- Develop and Implement Strategic Communication Plans
- Compiles market conduct research briefs
- Consults, advises and presents alternatives to the marketing managers on possible course of action, including identifying new business opportunities
- Responsible for the design, development and execution of Direct Marketing & Lead Campaigns
- Responsible for the conceptualisation and execution of marketing events
- Monitors marketing business environment and competitor activities and offerings
- Gathers information on local and international market trends for relevant product set
- Identifies new business sales opportunities and builds them into marketing messages
- Responsible for the development, design and delivery of presentations, including marketing messages
- Brand:
- Provides Input into the design and development of an annual advertising strategy
- Collaborates with agencies to ensure that they are motivated and producing industry-leading creative work and media execution
- Collaborates with the Brand Manager to ensure that traditional and digital advertising work synergistically together
- Sustainability:
- Track and support in the development of performance parameters and measurement for sustainability reporting
- Monitor deliverables of the sustainability initiatives identified by OMNAM
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure that activities conducted in the sustainability programme are in good standing with current best practice
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to Old Mutual Corporate
- Support enterprise-wide initiatives when required that support the sustainability strategy, implementation, or opportunity assessment
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sustainability or related field
- 3- 4 years’ experience
- Proven experience in Brand and Digital marketing roles
- Strong proficiency in social media management and digital analytics tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and innovation in developing engaging digital content
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flawless command of the English language
- Strong technical skills; Assertive self-starter with excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills
- Excellent conflict handling skills
- Familiarity with the financial industry is a an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service levels
