FNB Namibia is recruiting an Application Support Analyst, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To assess, design and recommend and implement new IT solutions to improve existing business applications functionality and user efficiency and productivity
- To extract business requirements, asses business process flows and recommend new procedures, systems changes and solutions to enhance business processes
- Maintain applications systems functionality and operational uptimes
Duties
- To deliver on departmental goals and execute relevant IT projects / IT initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress
- To comply, understand, and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
- Provide the overall support of application releases (tasks, assignments, delivery, timeframes and problem fixtures)
- To participate in IT projects to ensure successful implementation within agreed timelines
- Responsible for producing reports and statistic information on the applications/systems and impact on
Requisites
- Have an IT Related Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering
- Have 3 to 5 years experience, including at least 2 years software development experience
- Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
- Have 2 years’ experience related to technical experience in a software development environment of which 12 months includes SharePoint development and support
