FNB Namibia is recruiting a Group Financial Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To manage, oversee and implement the financial function of the Group through the provision of detailed financial analysis and insight and value-added reporting to aide decision making and strategic planning
Duties
- Manage, oversee and implement the financial function of the Group through the provision of detailed financial analysis and insight and value-added reporting to aide decision making and strategic planning
- Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans to facilitate the provision of adequate financial resources
- Implement a Financial Risk Control Framework for the Group
- Build cross functional relationships and consult with relevant stakeholders through the provision of effective financial services
- Provide input into the tactical strategy in order to develop and implement a supporting financial strategy
- Comply to all operational procedures to mitigate risk and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions
- Produce and assist with relevant Board reports for accurate financial reporting
- Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values
- Produce and assist with the annual integrated report and financial reports for publishing to the market for half year and year end for the Group
- Financial modelling and business case evaluation
- Apply and ensure compliance for the Group with relevant laws and regulations (i.e Income tax act, Banking Act, NSX Listing Requirements, etc)
Requisites
- A Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Have 5-8 relevant experience in a similar environment of which 2-3 years is on a senior specialist level
- An MBA qualification with banking experience will be an added advantage
