Description
- Providing customized solutions based on an intimate knowledge of existing transactional banking products and services
- To manage client relationships and maximize cross-selling revenues and client profitability while providing effective client support and relationship development relating to transactional banking
Duties
- To maximize cross-selling revenues and client profitability while providing effective client support related to Transactional banking products and services
- Perform effective sales and marketing of all transactional banking products to existing and potential clients, thereby ensuring that sales
- penetration for new business is achieved and an adequate relationship-calling program is maintained
- Providing support to the Transactional Banking Implementation team - including assistance with risk management of Business Banking and
- Corporate and Investment Banking clients
- Manage deal pipeline and work with RM’s / product / channel in driving sales and closing deals
- Develop and maintain credible relationships with clients through reliable, proactive service delivery and the skillful application of specialist knowledge
- Conduct post-implementation evaluation, and analysis of sales effectiveness and profitability of efforts, including reporting on activity to the Sales Manager
- Do competitor benchmarking exercises to inform the bank’s sales, service, product, and pricing strategies
- Providing a central contact point for the customer and adding value to clients through the identification of cross-selling opportunities
- Achieve agreed new sales revenue targets
- Perform a liaison role between the customer and all other internal support divisions of the Bank
- Support the launching of new initiatives, and product enhancements/concepts
Requisites
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Minimum Experience Level:
- Diploma/Degree in Banking/Business related studies
- Minimum of three (3) years general banking environment, with exposure to sales
- Sound computer and administration skills as well as an excellent knowledge of banking products
- Fintech knowledge will be an added advantage
- Valid driver’s license (BE)
