Agribank is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible to ensures the financial sustainability of Agribank in terms of required growth of funds in support of both operational and future growth strategies
- Provides professional financial and accounting management services, ensuring effective and efficient management, and administration of Agribank’s financial resources
Duties
- Business Unit Strategic and Operational Effectiveness and Efficiencies
- Financial Accounting
- Ensure all statutory and financial reports are correct as per standards.
- Management Accounting
- Control departments operational budgets
- Treasury Management
- Manage financial risk and liquidity for Agribank.
- Procurement
- Property Management and compliance
Requisites
- Honours Degree in Accounting or B. Com (Acc), CTA & CA
- An MBA will be a distinct advantage
- Ten (10) years relevant experience with at least five (5) years in an industry
- leadership managerial capacity having dealt with investment and financial
- management
- Investment and Financial Management, Leadership, Risk management
- IFRS 9, ECL Model, Property & Assets Management
- Treasury Management
