PWC Namibia is recruiting a Risk & Quality Associate, to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.

- As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution
Duties
- Completion of Client Take-On/FIA/Acceptance procedures on information systems
- Drafting and submission of Authorisation for Services (AFS) for approval
- Completion of A&C Client Acceptances & Engagement Acceptances as required
- Requesting ARIC reports on entities and shareholders/directors
- Responsible to consult with staff/clients regarding information required
- Updating of client information on relevant information systems (e.g. Oracle, Greatsoft, etc.)
- Ensure PEP/SEC/SECRAC Consultations with local R&Q team
- Execution of Independence searches including CES Searches, EMW Searches
- Oracle Searches, A&C Searches, etc
- Opening of assignments on Tax Manager Database/AoDocs Database
- Drafting Statement of Works (SOW) and Master Agreements (MA) where required
- Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
- Share and collaborate effectively with others
- Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
- Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly
- Follow risk management and compliance procedures
- Keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialism
- Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials I produce
- Build and maintain an internal and external network
- Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Requisites
- Must be a Namibian Citizen
- Must have Grade 12
- A related qualification will be an added advantage, but is not a requirement
- 1 - 2 years work experience in a similar administrative role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills required
- Must be able to meet deadlines, perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Must be able to work independently within a team environment
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office products/Google suite
