Internal Auditor Level 2 (m/f)

Duties

• Provide objective and independent assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Company’s sustainable performance in the areas of operations, risk management, internal controls, financial reporting, and government processes
• Allocate audit sections and prepare working papers for team member
• Review working papers and draft IA report or memo
• Prepare a daily timesheet, snapshot and interview clients
• Complete system descriptions based on the understanding of the process
• Understand the relationship between risk, control and governance and how to apply the understanding
• Communicate effectively and professionally in written communication including proper use of grammar and punctuation
• Built and maintain professional relationships across entity
• Demonstrate capacity to learn and apply new methods and skills
• Conduct planning for existing audits or for a completely new audit
• Allocate audit sections and prepare working papers for team member
• Assist with adhoc functions such as price comparison, timesheets and admin files

Requisites

• A tertiary qualification: BComm Accounting Degree (Hons) and the individual must have completed articles at an accredited institution
• At least 3-5 years experience in external/internal audit (job-specific knowledge)
• Valid Namibian driver’s license
• Namibian citizen
