Momentum Metropolitan is recruiting a Sales Manager: Momentum Retail, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Supporting and enabling a Sales Team to deliver on our clients’ expectations by continuously improving service efficiency and managing the clients’ experience
- This position will report directly to the Head of Distribution: Retail Affluent & Corporate Distribution Myriad
Duties
- Implement the business plan developed by the Head: Broker Distribution Myriad and align all operational processes and resources to the region’s marketing plan and initiatives
- Establish and identify new sales areas and opportunities, threats, environmental influences and increase penetration levels in the area
- Establish, maintain and manage a highly motivated and productive sales team through solid recruitment, selection and staff development efforts, in compliance with laid-down company procedures
- Optimize production across the product range through Financial Planners
- Attend to other related ad-hoc tasks that may arise
- Develop and execute branch sales plan and budget
- Continuously develop new business
- Execute joint field work with the Financial Planners
Requisites
- Grade 12 (minimum 25 IGCSE points) with at least 5 years Sales Supervisory experience
- An understanding of the Namibian Insurance Industry and must have a clean Credit Record
- A Diploma in Marketing/Business Management or an equivalent will be an added advantage
- Candidate must be in possession of a valid drivers’ license and own vehicle
- Competencies:
- Leadership skills and experience in the management of teams
- Problem identification/resolution and decision-making skills
- Computer Literate
- An innovative thinker
