Bokomo is recruiting a Regional Sales (Field Sales North), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible to lead, motivate, direct, train, control and performance manage a regional field sales team to ensure world class field sales execution to set QDVP5 sales standards and against agreed targets
Duties
- To support the development and ensure execution of the Field Sales Strategy
- To ensure sales execution against sales objectives in line with commercial and trading terms and agreed sales and promotional plans
- To manage and control stock and returns in line with FIFO stock rotation principles and agreed returns policy and targets
- Responsible for the execution of shared objectives and merchandising standards in line with sales strategy
- Responsible for management and control of promotional assets and equipment
- To ensure price monitoring and merchandising to price point
- To support preparation of weekly and monthly rolling volume forecast for Planning & Production
- To ensure the achievement of planned volume sales budget and scheduled projects
- Responsible to control and manage all tools of trade
- To manage and control promotional assets and equipment
- To manage and control cost centre in line with cost budget
- Work in close co-operation with Key Accounts, Sales Operations, Planning & Replenishment and Demand Chain Departments to ensure high customer service level
Requisites
- Detailed knowledge of Namibian consumers, customers, sales channels and markets
- Proven FMCG track record with broad sales skills in customer relationship management, key accounts, category management, merchandising, sales execution, planning & forecasting, sales reporting and developing new business
- The ability to deliver strong sales growth in a complex multi brand sales environment
- Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Marketing or Sales
- Minimum of 5 years Management experience in Key Accounts or Field Sales
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in an FMCG environment
- Valid Code B Namibian driver’s license
- SAP experience
- Excellent negotiation and communications skills
- Analytical thinking to identify and improve work processes
- Excellent leadership skills
