Roads Authority is recruiting a Legal Contract Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Accountable for the management of all company contracts for goods and services
- The incumbent is also responsible for interface and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive and coordinate the administration and review of company, contractor, vendor and other corporate agreements
- To manage a complete and effective discipline contract management service across the lifecycle of entire projects
- To review, draft and negotiate construction agreements and all other commercial agreements between RA and third parties

Requisites
- Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- LLB Degrees
- Admitted Legal Practitioner of High Court of Namibia
- Eight (8) years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years in a corporate environment
- Registration with Law Society of Namibia as Legal Practitioner
- Code B driving license
- Competencies/Skills:
- Knowledge of Project management and Procurement Act
- Good exposure on Engineering & Construction Contracts
- Contracts and legal drafting skills
- Knowledge of contract management (FIDICO, COLTO)
- Sound understanding of relevant Namibian legislations
