ICT Software Developer Graduate

Description

• The incumbent will be collaborating with Software Developer on Projects (6 months contract)

Duties

• Researching, designing and implementing software programs
• Debugging and testing code
• Documenting and testing new software applications
• Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Recommend and execute improvements on Software application
• Collaborating with Software Developer
• Designing, Modelling and implementing high performance database solutions
• Proactively learning about new technologies

Requisites

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Management
• Information Systems (NQF level 7) or related field of study
• Required Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
• Programming Languages: PHP, C#, ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, JavaScript
• Software Development Lifecycle models and methodologies
• Ability to establish and maintain co-operative working relations
• Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies
• Knowledge in Database design and modelling
• SQL Server Database
• Knowledge in software Version control
• Diagnostic skills
• Problem solving skills
• Interpersonal Skills
• Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Project management skills
