Agra is recruiting a Clerk: Receiving & Dispatch (A. Rosenthal), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based at A. Rosenthal and report to the Branch Manager
Duties
- Effective control of received stock
- Regular and correct filing of waybills
- Correct administrating of firearms dispatch & receiving register
- Ensures that stock is up to date (checking expiry dates and quantities)
- Ensures that the goods receiving process is followed
- Responsible for taking note of damaged stock
- Responsible for initiating returns
- Responsible for handling all aspects of the till if and when required
- Comparing product description on system towards actual product
- Responsible for verifying payments on account
- Adhering to cashier procedures
- Receiving of correct cash payments for products purchased by customers
- Delivery of customer service (Being available to internal and external clients, e.g. product advise, product location, pricing)
Requisites
- Qualifications & Attributes:
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 certificate
- 3 years related experience
- Computer literacy (Sage X3 and computerised point of sale)
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
- A valid driver’s license
