Description
- Responsible for executing CAM’s strategic sales, marketing, and brand-building initiatives, as well as ensuring exceptional client servicing in the Institutional and Corporate sectors
- Additionally, accountable for driving overall business growth and increasing AUM in selected channels
Duties
- Contributing towards CAM’s overall business strategy
- Generate leads for business lending, deposit, and fee sales growth, including new client acquisition, cross-sell, and retention
- Implement & monitor sales plans for a new business aligned with CAM’s overall business strategy
- Collaborate with Business Banking Officers and Relationship Managers to achieve growth targets while keeping high levels of client satisfaction and ethical integrity
- Aggressive growth of income & AUM in respective channels in line with CAM’s budget
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM
- Establish new and maintain existing client relations & maintain service levels with clients including communication & feedback; locates or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discover and explore opportunities
- Establish new and maintain existing relations with Asset Consultants, Pension Fund Trustees, and Pension Fund service providers
- Present to and consult with mid and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels as per research done and take responsibility for the roll-out to market
- Provide strategic leadership to the department; monitor staff learning & development; budget adherence; and maintaining of CRM
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals
- Serve on CAM Executive Committee, Credit & Compliance Committee, and Performance Attribution Committee
- Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential
Requisites
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Finance, Economics, accounting, statistics, or related field
- Ideal Post Graduate Degree
- Advantage CFA
- Experience in Institutional and Corporate sales in the Financial Industry or Asset Management environment will be an additional added advantage
