- Osino Resources is a Canadian-listed gold exploration and development company focused on progressing our exciting Twin Hills Gold Project to mine construction
- Twin Hills is located near Karibib in central Namibia and is in the project financing stage
- Initial site works are expected to commence late in 2023 and full construction in 2024
- To help shape and lead the Twin Hills Gold Project construction, Osino is offering the following unique opportunities to suitably qualified industry experts
Duties
- Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing relationships with host communities through the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies, and the execution of external community upliftment programmes and public relations activities in and near Karibib and Omaruru
Requisites
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Development Studies, Public Administration or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in a community outreach or development environment
- Good communication skills in English, Afrikaans and, ideally, additional local languages
- Willingness to travel within Namibia
- Developing, implementing and maintaining community engagement plans and communication mechanisms
- Facilitating conflict resolution and feedback, including management of grievance mechanism
