FNB Namibia is recruiting a Portfolio Consumer Manager, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
Evaluates a portfolios risk, makes final credit decisions, interacts with other departments regarding credit strategy, manage, coach and mentor team
Duties
- Evaluates and authorise without reference or overview credit proposals within limits of delegated authority
- Scrutinises and credit proposals above limits of delegated authority and add recommendations for senior management and/or respective credit committee
- Appraises the risk factor where excesses over arrangements within prescribed responsibility are reported and institute suitable action to protect the Group from exposure
- Ensures the implementation and adherence to all risk management procedures
- Ensures credit proposals meet FNB's standards
- Identifies and assess credit risks relating to new corporate proposals by ascertaining the degree to which lending principles and processes were applied in the formulation of the proposal
- Conducts formal coaching session with direct reports focusing on key areas for development
- Ensures each team member has a written Personal Development Plan and performance management agreement
- Contributes to the recruitment of team members and ensure well skilled and experienced people are hired in an equity compliant way and in accordance with agreed procedures
- Celebrates success and reward and recognise the contributions of all team members
Requisites
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- 5 to 7 years related experience
