Description
- The purpose of this position is to receive, capture, archive and retrieve all membership applications for the different medical aids
- Reporting to the Team Leader: Premiums and Membership
Duties
- Process applications for prospective members to the medical aid funds
- Performs a basic risk assessment for the applications, in accordance to the rules and regulations of the medical aid fund
- Updates membership data on the system
- Attend to other related ad-hoc tasks that may arise
Requisites
- Grade 12 with 25 IGCSE points
- 2 years’ experience as a receptionist or in administrative environment
- A Diploma in office administration or a related field will be a definite advantage
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Able to operate a switchboard
- Demonstrate strong telephone etiquette
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with people at all levels
