Agra is recruiting an Assistant Officer: HR Operations, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- The successful incumbent will be based at Corporate Office and report to the General Manager: Human Resources
- Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for co-ordination and execution of all employee
engagement activities/initiatives. E.g.: Survey’s, Best practice
engagements etc.
- Responsible for creating effective employee communication plans to help improve the flow of information across the organisation that will
help drive behaviour change and engagement
- Liaising with internal departments where required to determine how
engagement between Corporate Office and other business units
branches can be improved
- Act as a link between Human Resources and the business unit
branches; creating synergy between HR and the business units/branches
- Manages the diary and related administration of the General Manager: Human Resources
- Co-ordinating monthly NTA levy payments, collecting of all training
information and submission of claims to the NTA
- Maintaining the company’s staff portal
- Responsible for co-ordinating the Retail training programme within Agra
- Responsible for travel and accommodation arrangements for
the Human Resources department
- Co-ordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for
training interventions
- Co-ordinating Health & Safety training as required
- Co-ordinating of Long Service Awards
- Responsible for stationery and consumable orders for the HR
department
- Responsible for co-ordination of employee name badges
- Assist with the organisation of staff events
Requisites
- Qualifications & Attributes:
- Namibian citizenship
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources or Industrial/Organisational Psychology
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources department
- Experience in training and development will be advantageous
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)
