Namibia Dairies is recruiting a Teamleader Warehouse, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To control and maintain stock levels, control the movement of pallets and crates and the overall management of the Procurement Warehouse function, to ensure that raw material required for production are issued on time and in the right quantity as per production plan
KEY ACOUNTABILITIES
- Process all warehouse reservations, MIGOs, crates receiving and scrapings on SAP
- Perform stock counts to make sure that there is always right level of stock as per safety minimum requirements – Inform procurement officer of stock low level counts
- Monitor the stock rotation in terms of FIFO by analysing aging report and colour coding on a weekly basis and provide report to Manager Warehouse
- Monitor proper receiving and storing of raw material into the relevant demarcated areas in the Warehouse
- Monitor shelf-life dates based on the Aging report and inform the Procurement and Production Managers a month prior to expiry date of raw material
- Inform Maintenance of any malfunctions on the temperature loggers at the raw material containers
- Process claims for damaged stock and obtain destructive certificate where required arrange with ND approved supplier e.g., Rent a drum
- Inventory control
- Process claims on SAP
- Oversee the accurate issuing of raw material to production in line with the SAP reservations
- Control the movement of outgoing and incoming crates by analyzing the MB51 report on SAP
- Record and control outgoing and incoming Chep pallets on the Chep system and SAP daily
- Lead the Warehouse team members
Requisites
- Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain
- At least 5 years’ experience in Warehousing environment of which 2-years are in a Supervisory role
- At least 7 years’ experience in Warehousing environment of which 3-years are in a Supervisory role
- Knowledge of SAP
- Code B drivers License
- Forklift Licence
