FNB Namibia is recruiting a Legal and Compliance Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Provide legal advice in terms of sureties and is responsible for administrative and safe keeping tasks related to controls and securities
- Responsibilities:
- Management of Legal/Credit Risk
- Build and maintain enduring relationships with customers
- Record all security and accompanying documentation in security logbook
- Remove the Mandate from Safe Custody
- Log the report in the safe custody register
- Preparation of security documents Instruct attorneys to register/cancel covering bonds
- Ensures the control of safe custody and foreign notes (log in/out)
- Control of security safe and balance twice a month
Requisites
- Relevant Legal Degree
- 3 years related experience
