Namibia Breweries is recruiting a Building Maintenance Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To manage and control land and building maintenance services as well as allocate, monitor and correct the work of contracted employees as per the Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of maintenance services
Duties
- Management of expenses of several cost centres
- Advise and assist on maintenance functions for NBL Windhoek sites
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of third parties/contractors
- Provide input in the compiling of tender documents/SLA’s related to lands and buildings
- Perform administrative duties
- Coordinate scrap and asset disposal and sales
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental policies
- Supervise and manage team performance
Requisites
- A Diploma or Technical (Trade Certificate) in Building Maintenance/Facilities Management or a related field with 5 years’ experience in building maintenance of which at least 3 years should include contract management
