- Primary Purpose of the Job: Administer day to day task at the Funkytown Mall effectively and profitably
Duties
- Marketing of the Mall for Leasing:
- Designing of ads, update websites, attend networking events, make cold calls and follow up on customer leads
- Promote unoccupied shops through various media and advertising techniques
- Present the shops to prospective clients in a persuasive manner and follow up
- Lease Agreements:
- Provide accurate information on the different features of shops and mall in general
- Validate application information and references
- Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements
- Maintenance of Properties:
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspect the property periodically
- Resolve issues arising with Tenants and Maintenance
- Arrange for shops to be cleaned and presentable for potential clients
- Maintain Property and arrange for quotes for repairs and control
- Managing Employees:
- Oversee the employees and inspect the work of cleaners and security
- Daily reports of day to day tasks
- Assets: Ensure proper recording, maintenance, and control of all assets
- General: Attend meetings as required
- Solve Tenants complaints – Customer service
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested or assigned
Requisites
- Passed Grade 12
- A tertiary qualification in Property Management or related field is recommended
- Proven working experience as a Mall/Property Manager for at least 2 years
- Proven track record of successful Property portfolio under previous management
- Exposure to financial reporting documentation
- Good knowledge of property Managing, rules and regulations
- Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques, Customer-focused approach
- Good communication, Problem solving, interpersonal, Time management, Microsoft Office, Excel
- English language proficiency, numeracy, analytical, problem solving and decision making
- Valid Drivers License
