NASFAF is recruiting a Manager Human Capital: Patterson D4 (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To manage and coordinate human resource transactional services, payroll, wellness, organisational effectiveness and employee relations, and ensure human resource administration and operations run smoothly, effectively and efficiently in providing support services to line managers and employees
  • Personality: Focusing on high and excellent team performance and have a positive outlook. Reliable, tolerant, committed and determined. Empathetic and a clear communicator, able to see things from the other person's perspective and embrace diversity. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get along with others and be a team player
  • Mature and comfortable in dealing with senior executives within or outside the organization. Be principled and uphold the values and principles of integrity and ethical conduct

Requisites
  • Degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management/Planning/Development or Labour Law/Industrial Relations
  • 6-year working experience in general HR at supervisory level including -HR specialization; at least three (3) years in transactional services/payroll administration/employee wellness/organisational development/performance management/employee relations
  • Certification in Industrial Psychology/Occupational Health and Safety/Conciliation and Arbitration is highly recommended
  • Attendance of accredited Management Development Programme is an added advantage
  • Job Specific Competencies and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations and principles of the NSFAF
  • Knowledge of payroll system(s)
  • Ability to work under high work pressure, work load and deliver on timelines
  • Good understanding of the national labour laws, regulations and frameworks
  • Ability to read, interpret and enforce relevant policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with top management
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Knowledge of principles of delivering leading customer services.
  • Adapting to changing work priorities
  • Communicating with diverse groups and individuals
  • Good understanding of third-party payments and relevant third-party rules
  • Solid writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and complex assignments
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Plan ahead and work in systematic and organised way
  • Good understanding of recruitment and selection tools and practices
  • Good knowledge of job evaluation and grading system
  • Good understanding of remuneration and payroll management
  • A good understanding of wellness, health, safety and environment frameworks and practices
  • Knowledge of principles, methods and techniques of organisational effectiveness
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations within established guidelines
  • Ability to research, analyse data and make recommendations
  • Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives and action plans
  • Good knowledge and skills of dispute resolution mechanisms
