Manager: IT and Digital Proliferation (m/f)

Description

• To develop, implement, manage and continuously refine the IT infrastructure and Digitisation of business processes to enable optimal systems utilization and the availability of information and analyses for well-founded decision making
• To develop the Systems Architecture at both network systems and applications level, and based on ongoing user needs analyses develop IT solutions that enable business and support functions to manage these areas more effectively, while integrating these solutions within an ERP type architecture that is NAMDIA strategy based. To refine applications and integration of applications and underlying data bases to optimally support business processes and information provision. To maintain service levels and efficiencies of the NAMDIA infrastructure, ensure back-up and security, and enable effective use of systems through training and development in cooperation with HR
• To monitor IT and digitization industry evolution, and guide NAMDIA as to what is the appropriate level of IT deployment in NAMDIA and together with the COO track cost-benefit effectiveness. To engage and manage IT/Digitization service providers against SLAs, complementary to internal capacity, and ensure a cost-effective and continuity enabling balance

Requisites

• Honours Degree in Information Systems or related fields
• NQF Level 8
• Ten (10) years appropriate experience in this area of expertise of which at least six (6) years in a professional role and at least 2 years heading up support department.
• Driver’s License Code B
