FNB Namibia is recruiting a Self Service Delivery Cash Analyst (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To assist in the implementation of the cash strategy through the end-to-end specialist analysis of entities within the cash value chain to ensure optimization of cash holdings
- Analyze MIS to identify entities requiring corrective action to reduce opportunity, risk, cash holdings and cost
- Monitor review daily reports forcash outages; excesses and compliance
- Plan and coordinate branch and SSD cash order requirements via iCom for all Branches and SSD devices
- Monitor environment to ensure vendor and infrastructure cost is maiined at budgeted levels, and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Coordinate logistics for cash movement effectively, and identify areas to gain efficiencies
- Ensure optimal CIT routes are inplace (Lean fleet) to optimize cash holdings based on costs and risks
- Ensure accurate cash limit records are available and accessible
- Assisting entities with capturing and authorizing of cash related services
- Monitor canister capacity for SSD Custodian escalations
- Plan and coordinate with SSD custodians for daily loading Record and address vendor or bank service delivery issues to prevent spillage and in efficiencies.
- Take initiative to address gaps identified with the aim to continuously improve Cash and SSD operational efficiencies
- Monitor and rectify daily error alerts on iCom to identify data, system and behavioural issues
- Advise, train and assist all usersin the use of iCom
- Identify and maintain system parameters to improve efficiencies
- Identify MIS requirements and implement reporting on ICOM to address Branches and SSD devices requiring corrective action
- Assist branches with requisitions for cash devices, by assessing capacity and cost, versus business needs, or redistribute where needed
- Review limits to ensure concurrency and accuracy per device or branch
- Preparation and distribution of authorised limit sheets to all relevant stakeholders
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements, policies, process, and procedures required for Cash Centre, Branch and Self-Service Devices
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions by resolving queries fast end effective
- Provide monthly information for management reports and presentations
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships and provide supportive role to Branch Management, colleagues and vendors
Requisites
- Minimum qualification: Relevant postgraduate qualification in banking or any other related qualification
- Additional required: Supply chain management or Business Administration
- Minimum years of relevant experience: At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in an analytical, logistics, or supply chain management, or cash management function preferably within the Banking environment
