Affluent New Business, Underwriting and Claims Supervisors (m/f)

Description

• The main purpose of this position is the supervision of the New Business and Claims team. The New Business and Claims team will be responsible for meeting production targets and render support to the Affluent Sales force

Duties

• Management of service level agreements (SLA's) and workflow to ensure best service delivery as possible
• Ensure on-going management of the standards of service delivery
• Revisit SLA's on regular basis to enhance continuous improvement. Ongoing investigation to assure the best and effective ways of servicing
• Drive and meet production targets
• Coordinate system testing and continuous reviewing of processes
• Manage system tasks logged, testing and implementation
• Management on system reports
• Implementation and maintenance of workflow program (Doc-it)
• Authorization of claims
• Monthly and weekly reporting to management
• Professional feedback management in verbally and in writing within SLA period
• Complaints handling within SLA
• Adherence to fully operational compliance and to correct monthly checks
• Training co-ordination to make sure that team members are well equipped to fulfill responsibilities and to always remain up to date with the latest information
• Operational excellence via effective resource allocations
• Management of team to assure high level of motivation and continuity in service delivery
• Assure standardization of forms and processes and manage that it is executed
• Ensure performance management process is executed effectively

Requisites

• Tertiary qualification in Communications or Business Administration
• At least 5 years working experience in long term insurance industry
• Supervisory experience in the long term insurance industry will be an added advantage
