Description
- Daures Green Hydrogen Consortium (DGHC) is looking to grow its team. The Consortium will be developing the Daures Green Hydrogen Village in the Daures Constituency in the Erongo Region
- The project will focus on green scheme agriculture underpinned by green hydrogen and green ammonia production
- The pilot project intends to show proof of concept and use cases, subsequent phases will scale production to commercial levels over the course of the next few years. As such Daures Green Hydrogen Consortium intends to employ a Renewable Energy Manager to join our team

Duties
- The Renewable Energy Manager is responsible for the development and management of the Daures Green Hydrogen Village renewable energy facilities
- The successful applicant shall be responsible for all projects from the inception stage pre-feasibility studies up to project commissioning and completion This role will also include the identification and facilitation of further renewable energy business development
Requisites
- Competency and Skill Requirements:
- Must have a relevant engineering qualification
- Technical knowledge of renewable energy plants and its establishment
- 3 to 5 years industry experience including wide industry experience, regulations, and policies
- Experience in renewable energy business development
- Willingness to commute between Windhoek and the Daures Constituency
- Experience leading teams
- Understanding local and regional Markets and networks will be an advantage
- Interest in renewable energy, green hydrogen and green ammonia
