Daures Green Hydrogen Consortium (DGHC) is recruiting a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Daures Green Hydrogen Consortium (DGHC) is looking to grow its team. The Consortium will be developing the Daures Green Hydrogen Village in the Daures Constituency in the Erongo Region. The project will focus on green scheme agriculture underpinned by green hydrogen and green ammonia production
- The pilot project intends to show proof of concept and use cases, subsequent phases will scale production to commercial levels over the course of the next few years. As such Daures Green Hydrogen Consortium intends to employ a Chief Executive Officer to lead our team based in Windhoek

Duties
- The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the development of long-term strategic objectives, business plans and governance policies
- The CEO is responsible for the financial management, business development, project conceptualization, liaison with government authorities, securing approvals, management and execution
of projects as per company strategy
Requisites
- Competency and Skill Requirements:
- A master’s degree in finance, engineering, or related energy/technical field
- MBA with a focus in finance is an added advantage
- At least 8 years – experience in the energy sector and particularly in or related to the Solar and
- Renewable Energy sector
- Minimum of 5 years of Senior leadership experience at a large utility or energy provider
- Experience leading teams
- Experience in fund raising i.e. green bonds, CPC, SPAC etc. will be an advantage Experience in ammonia and/or hydrogen and its derivatives will be an advantage
- German speaking will be an advantage
