Namibia Breweries is recruiting a Brewing Maintenance Controller (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Responsible for ensuring optimal availability and performance of the unit by planning and organizing all maintenance schedules and corrective maintenance orders for the unit and scoping of unplanned jobs to determine skill, duration, spares, and tools required, as well a planning/scheduling of resources vital for execution and ensuring that forward planning cycles are in two-week windows. Furthermore, to ensure the execution of all planned and corrective maintenance work and assisting with the continuous improvement of all maintenance schedules through the use of a structured break down analysis programs
Duties
- Controlled maintenance activities
- Manage budget of allocated unit
- Recommend maintenance mix and schedule improvements
- Develop maintenance plans
- Allocate work to Technicians/Artisans
- Arrange required resources (e.g., contractors, spares, tools, and materials)
- Manage and support with problem solving and improvement/replacement projects
- Perform housekeeping in area of work
- Implement continuous improvement on plant availability using maintenance systems
Requisites
- National Diploma (S4), Higher National Diploma (B-tech) or N6 Mechanical/Electrical (Trade Test Certificate)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a plant
- Knowledge of planned maintenance
- SAP and FMCG experience will be an added advantage
