Namib Mills is recruiting a Payroll Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To oversee time and attendance and process and administer payroll functions within the parameters of Statutory Provisions and Company policies
Duties
- Ensure effective payroll reporting and payroll movement/status of changes
- Administration and electronic filing of personnel records in accordance with Statutory and Company requirements
- Accurately administrating of third-party deductions for employees in accordance with Statutory requirements
- Compliance with relevant regulations
- Respond timeously to time and attendance requests, inquiries and complaints
Requisites
- Grade 12 (NQF4) and/or a Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or Human Resources
- At least 3 years' experience in time and attendance and/or Payroll processing
- Namibian citizen
- Knowledge of the ACCSYS system will be an added advantage
- Computer literate with mastering of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be an added advantage
