Sanlam is recruiting a Service Consultant (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Responsible for general client service and support on Personal Lines and Commercial Lines
- Accurate and timely processing on insurer systems or notify insurer of client instruction
- Activate endorsement process in CRM and follow through on all activities
- Communicate endorsement schedule for corrections against client instruction
- Ensure that commercial endorsement premiums are calculated according to the agreed rates from the insurers
- Ensure that risks are underwritten correctly as per the underwriting criteria of the insurers
- Check renewal terms against in-force policy
- Activate renewals process in CRM follow through on all activities
- Provide client quotations in line with agreed underwriting criteria
- Accurately and timely process of proposal in line with prescribed procedure
- Ensure that all proposals are FIA compliant
- Ensure that debit order details are correct
- Activate cancellation endorsement process in CRM
- Follow up on possible refunds and ensure that it is duly processed
- Assist and advise clients on enquiries and complaints
- Communicate client suggestions on service improvement to the Client Relations Consultant
- Ensure that claim forms are fully completed with copies of required documents
- Process claim in CRM and follow through on all activities
- Update claims notes in CRM with every client interaction
- Regular follow-up on the progress of claims
- Regular follow-up with insurers on final settlement of claim
- Assist with account queries from clients, insurers and Finance department
- Handling of client queries and complaints
Requisites
- Grade 12 with 1-2 years working experience in the Financial Services industry
- Experience in the short-term insurance industry will be an added advantage
- Knowledge and Skills:
- MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Proficient in English
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve disputes, complaints and conflicts
- Good communication skills
- Be well versed in the relevant insurance policy wordings
- Knowledge of relevant insurer systems
- Advanced knowledge of CRM
